Making Connections to Our Community

Here are some examples of how our church connects with our community
Please visit the Calendars page and Newsletters page for more information.

Food Pantry
Our church maintains a food bank that serves the needs local residents.  Food donations can be made anytime to donation bins located in the narthex and across from the Church office.  Communion Sundays are also Food Pantry Sundays and place a special emphasis on the needs of the hungry through an emphasis on the needs of the food pantry.

Circle of Friends Preschool
The Circle of Friends Christian Preschool has been operating as a local mission of our church for over 10 years.  Church members have provided assistance through gifts to the preschool scholarship fund and by volunteering in the classroom.

Boy Scout Troop 7
Troop 7 has been chartered by the Men of the Medford First United Methodist Church since its formation in 1928 and the Church at 607 West Main in Medford has been our only home.  We have served the needs of boys from within the Church Family and from the community as a whole for nearly 80 years.  In that time, we have seen over 60 young men receive the Rank of Eagle Scout . . . the highest achievement in Scouting.  Visit http://www.troop7medford.org/ for more information.
